Biographies

He was born at Torquay and educated at Oxford. He studied art at the Royal College of Art and the studio of Alfred Moore. He was also an art critic, wrote for periodicals, and authored books on painting. Ezra Pound disparaged his work in issue 22:16:310 of The New Age. His biographical and critical work is now better known than his art.
