Russell, Walter Westley (1867-1949) by Scholes, Robert

Walter Westley Russell (1867 – 1949) He went to the Royal Academy School and studied at the Slade with Tonks and Steer. Like them, he became a member of The New English Art Club, and can be found at the right side of Max Beerbohm’s famous caricature of the group.
