Averil Mary Burleigh ( ?-1949)

She studied at the Brighton School of Art and became a well-known painter and illustrator, married to Charles H. H. Burleigh, who was also an artist. They lived at Hove in Sussex. Paintings by both of them are in the Brighton/Hove museums. She exhibited with the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours in London in 1918.
