Barlow, John Noble (1861-1917)

John Noble Barlow (1861 – 1917) He studied under Lefebvre, Delance, and Constant in Paris. He became an American citizen in 1877, but he returned to England for his later years, settling in St. Ives, Cornwall, where he died in 1917. He was a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and Oil Painters. As an American, he was a member of the Providence Art Club. Three of his landscapes are displayed at the Rhode Island School of Design.
