Cuthbert Edmund Swan (1873 – 1931) He was born in Ireland and educated at Seaford College. Once a sailor, he became a painter, specializing in wild animals. He spent some time in India but settled in Hampstead. His caused Ezra Pound to say in reviewing a show in 1918 () — though it is possible that Pound was referring to John M.
