Unwin, Francis Sidney (1885-1925)

Francis Sidney Unwin (1885 – 1925) He was born at Stalbridge in Dorset, and studied at the Winchester School of Art. He was at the Slade in London from 1902 to 1905. He travelled on the Continent but settled in London in 1909, joining the New English Art Club in 1913. He was known mainly for his drawings and etchings of architectural subjects. He died in Norfolk from tuberculosis.
