Cecil Ross Burnett (1872 – 1933)

He was born at Old Charlton in Kent and studied under Joseph Hill at the Blackheath School of Art, at the Westminster School of Art, and at the Royal Academy Schools. Around 1989 he started the Sidcup School of Art, where he was Headmaster for many years. He lived mainly in Sussex, painting rural landscapes and scenes.
