Ann (or Annie) Underwood (1876 – ) A painter of miniatures and portraits, whe was born at East Grinstead in Sussex and studied at the Brighton School of Art under and Bushey. She lived at East Grinstead for many years. Ezra Pound found her work “quaint” in 1918 . Herkomer (NA 22.24:472)
