Natalia Goncharova (1881-1962) She was born in Ladyshkino in the Tula district of Russia, and studied at the faculty of sculpture at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under Volnukhin and Trubetskoy (1898-1909). She also studied painting independently with and . Her work was widely seen in European exhibitions, including The Golden Fleece (1908-1910), the Union of Youth (1909-1913), the Jack of Diamonds (1910), the Postimpressionists (London, 1912), the Blaue Reiter (München, 1912), the Donkey’s Tail (1912), the Target (1913), and others. Korovin Larionov With Mikhail Larionov, she was a founder the Neo-Primitive and Rayonist movements. Goncharova also worked as a designer for theatrical performances and was the leading decorator for the Russian Ballet until 1929.
