Renée Finch A portrait and figure painter, she gained notoriety by submitting a male nude with blue pubic hair to a show of the Allied Artists Association exhibition in 1913. She was accused of immorality and threatened with police action, with the result that she had to withdraw the picture. After that she joined the Fitzroy Street Group and thus became a founding member of the London Group when it was formed. She exhibited her work in London from 1907 to 1916. We would like to locate images of her work, especially one of the painting she had to withdraw.
