Barlow, Myron G. (1873-1937)

Myron G. Barlow (1873 – 1937) Born in Ionia, near Detroit, Michigan, he studied at the Detroit Museum School and the Chicago Art Institute, before going to Paris, to study at the Beaux Arts, where he caught the attention of Bouguerau. He lived mainly in France for the rest of his life and ultimately received the Legion of Honor. He was one of a number of American Impressionists who exhibited regularly in both countries.
