Clara Billing (active: 1910 – 1939)
A sculptor as well as a painter, Billing studied at the Manchester School of Art, the Royal College of Art, and in Paris. She was a member of the Artists’ Suffrage League, a group of women artists who made posters and cards in support of women’s rights. From Lindsay Davies, we know that “Clara’s married name was Langford Jones and she lived in a house called Great Tree, Blewbury, Berkshire.” We would like to learn more about Billing and locate more images of her work.
