Geraldine R. Birch (1883 – 1972)

She lived in Dundee and was an etcher. Her was noted in for July 28, 1910, but apparently she did not show her work after that year. She was married to W. Galloway Duncan. Thanks to her great-grandaughter, Linda Wiles, and her grandson, Stephen Duncan, we now have more information about her and images of her work. love of decorations NA 7.13:307 The New Age She was born in Sussex and studied art in Paris. She also spent a year in Germany studying anatomy and another year at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. She moved to the US in 1918, and settled in California, where she lived and worked. She died in Altadena, CA, after being attacked by an intruder in her home.
