Johannes Bosboom (1817 – 1891)

He was born in the Hague, lived there most of his life, and was a member of the Hague School of painting, which drew inspiration from both earlier Dutch and Flemish painting and Corot and the Barbizon artists. Bosboom himself specialized in painting churches, especially interiors.
