Edouard Chappel (1859 – 1946) Born in Belgium he moved to England at some point and settled in London with his wife. Together, they opened the Gunter Grove Studio at 24 Gunter Grove, Fulham Road. Madame Chappel taught fan, china and silk painting, while her husband Edward, gave instruction in figure, animal, still-life and landscape painting and pastel. Edouard Chappel exhibited extensively from 1892 to 1933 in various London shows and galleries.
