Vivian Forbes (1891 – 1937) She was born in London and educated at Haileybury. She studied art at the Chelsea Polytechnic School under , and in Paris. She lived and worked with Philpot until his death, and she committed suicide the day after his funeral. She painted portraits and historical subjects Glyn Philpot
