Janning P. Gangooly (1876-1953) He exhibited work in London a few times from 1908 to 1913, but lived in Calcutta. Anthony Ludovici had this to say about him in : “Gangooly presents an old theme in Kinchinganga at Sunrise (No. 36), but it is not worse than its predecessors in the tradition; there is a wonderful serenity in the sky and in the silent ring of the hills” ().
