Albert Goodwin (1845 – 1932) Goodwin received some early training under Arthur Hughes and , exhibited his first work at the Royal Academy at the age of 15 and was an impassioned student of work. His work hovered between romanticism and realism, with the romanticism showing in titles like Pastoral Symphony, Guernsey and The Source of the Sacred River, though.he also painted landscapes with more mundane titles, like Low Tide, south Coast, Near Brighton.
