George Graham (1881-1949) He was born in Leeds, where he studied architecture before taking drawing lessons at the Leeds School of Art. Later he studied painting in London under , , and Swan. He was active in Yorkshire and in Sussex, where he spent the latter part of his life. In 1918 Ezra Pound praised his work, , as a . Brangwyn Nicholson Great Gable clean rainswept landscape, quite beautifully done (NA 22.24:472)
