Arthur Romney Green ( – 1945) Known as a designer of furniture in the Arts and Crafts tradition, and a socialist in the tradition, A. Romney Green wrote for from the first volume onwards. Makers of furniture still produce pieces “inspired” by him, which means loose imitations of his designs. He lived and worked in Christchurch, Dorset, and a display of his furniture can be seen there in the Red House Museum. He published a book of poems in 1901, called Poems. William Morris The New Age
