Herbert Hampton (1862 – 1929) He was born at Hoddeston and studied at the Lambeth, the Westminster, and the Slade School of Art, and in Paris at the Académie Julian and Cormon’s. He worked as a sculptor and a painter, living mainly in London and showing his works often with the Royal Academy
