Heem, David de (1663?-1714?) by Scholes, Robert

David de Heem (1663 – 1714) Born in Antwerp, the son of painter Cornelis de Heem, and grandson of the still-life master Jan de Heem, he lived and worked mostly in the Hague. There is still some confusion about which de Heem painted certain works.
