Biographies

Gwen Hughes (1905 – 1935) She was a sculptor and miniature painter who lived mainly in Surrey and Sussex. We would like to learn more about her and locate images of her work. (She is not to be confused with a contemporary sculptor with the same name.) Ezra Pound found a nude by her “appalling” in 1918 . (NA 22.24:472)
