Robert Morson Hughes (1873 – 1953) He grew up in Kent and was educated at the Sevenoaks School there, studying art at the Lambeth School of Art and the South London Technical Art School. He lived in Cornwall for many years. He was known mainly for his landscapes and marine scenes.
