Talbot Hughes (1869 – 1942) A painter of genre, figurative and theatrical subjects, Hughes exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1871 and 1903. He also exhibited at Grosvenor Gallery and Suffolk Street. He was the son of the still-life painter William Hughes and brother of . He lived in London and later in Osmington, near Weymouth, Dorset.
