Jones, Adrian (1845-1938)

He was born at Ludlow in Shropshire and served in the Army for 23 years as a veterinary officer. He studied art under C. A. Birch and exhibited at the main London galleries from 1884 on. He was a sculptor and painter who was particularly known for his representations of horses.
