Biographies

John Littlejohns (1874 – ) He was born at Orchard hills in Devon. He was a pupil-teacher at the Biddeford School of Art at the age of 16. Mainly a landscape painter, he did a good deal of work as an illustrator and wrote a number of books about painting technique and such topics as How to Enjoy Pictures. He also did some posters.
