Lorein, Victor (1894-1954) by Scholes, Robert

Victor Lorein (1894 – 1954) A Belgian, he was born in Ghent. He lived in London in 1918, as did a number of Belgians exiled by the war, and showed three works with the London Salon, which led Ezra pound, writing as B. H. Dias, to call him a “careful disciple of Picasso” . (NA 23.14:244) We would like to find more information about his life and to locate images of his work.
