William Henry Margetson (1861 – 1940) He was born in London and educated at Dulwich College. He studied art at South Kensington and the Royal Academy Schools. He exhibited at the main London galleries from an early age, and spent his last years at Wallingford in Berkshire. His style is that of the Victorian story-tellers, particularly .
