F. Katherine Mayer (1907 – 1926) We know very little about her, except that she lived in Twickenham for a time and later in Chelsea. She showed her work most frequently at the Goupil Gallery, and with the National Portrait Society in 1918, causing Ezra Pound to observe that she had painter her subject’s kimono more carefully than her face. .
