Mary McEvoy (1870 – 1941) She was born in Freshford, Somerset, daughter of Colonel Spencer Edwards. She studied at the Slade School. In 1902 she married . Like Ambrose, she exhibited with the N.E.A.C. She resumed painting after her husband’s death and exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1928 to 1937. Ambrose McEvoy
