Mead, Marion Grace (?-1933?) by Scholes, Robert

Marion Grace Mead ( – 1933) We know very little about her, except that whe was a miniaturist who lived and worked in London and exhibited there, mostly with the Royal Miniaturist Society, of which she became an Associate in 1924. Two of her works, a Hawk and an Owl, received faint praise from Anthony Ludovici in , as excelling in conscientiousness rather than artistic quality, but we have found no images that might support or confound this criticism. She began showing her work in 1906. The New Age (NA 12.13:306)
