Molzahn, Johannes (1892-1965)

Johannes Molzahn (1892 – 1965) He went to school in Weimar and received his technical training in Berlin and Berne. In 1908 he moved to Switzerland but returned to Germany in 1914. In 1917, he had an exhibition at Herwarth Walden’s Der Sturm Gallery in Berlin. His work at that time was influenced by both the Cubists and the Futurists, but the banner most of Walden’s group sailed under was “Expressionism.”
