Biographies

Oswald Moser (1874 – 1953) Robert Oswald Moser was born in London and came to art studies after trying some other things, studying first at the St. John’s Wood Art School. He worked as an illustrator and a painter. The Modernist Journals Project would like to thank Anny Jones for making available to us a copy of her 1944 Moser watercolor depicting a scene through an archway (see below). We would be pleased to learn of more images by Moser.
