Osborne, Malcolm (1880-1963) by Scholes, Robert

Malcolm Osborne (1880 – 1963) Osborne was born in Frome, Somerset, and studied at the RCA. He made his first etching in 1904 and by 1940, had produced over 100 plates. He studied etching and engraving under Sir Frank Short at South Kensington. There, he became a lifelong friend of his fellow classmate, . Throughout the following years the two artists often worked together and shared the same studio, going on etching tours in France together as well. Alfred Bentley
