Piero di Cosimo (1462 – 1521) A Florentine painter, he was a student of , whose name he took. Vasari described him as an eccentric who lived on hard boiled eggs, which he cooked while boiling the glue for his fresco work. He is especially noted for his ability to represent animals. Cosimo Roselli
