Rainey, William (1852-1936)

William Rainey (1852 – 1936) He was born in London and studied at the Royal College of Art and the Royal Academy Schools. Known primarily as an illustrator, he was also a painter, mainly in water colors. He illustrated books by Dickens and Henty, among others. He lived in Eastbourne.
