Frederick Charles Richards (1887 – 1932) He was born at Newport in Monmouthshire and studied art at the Royal College of Art and abroad. He published pencil sketch books of Oxford, Venice, Rome, Florence, Windsor, and Eton. He lived in London. His vigorous drawing of The Temple of the Sibyl, Tivoli, appeared in and may be located below. In 1931 he spent nine months in Persia and later wrote and illustrated .
