Strang, Ian (1886-1952)

Ian Strang (1886 – 1952) He was born in London, the elder son of artist William Strang, and studied at the Slade School with Tonks from 1902-1906 and at the Académie Julian in Paris, under Laurens, from 1906 to 1908. He worked in France, Belgium, Sicilly, and Spain in addition to Britain. He was mainly a draughtsman and etcher of architectural subjects, but he could produce a delicate portrait if the opportunity arose. (See the below.) Child Dancer
