Luke Taylor ( 1876 – 1916) We have not been able to find out much about him, and have located only one image, an engraving made around 1910. His work was mentioned favorably by Cecil Chesterton in for July 4,1907. Thanks to Paul Garner at John Garner antiques, we can add the following information: The New Age (NA 1.10:159) Painted and etched landscape and engraved reproductions of contemporary paintings. Exhib nine works at the RA including ‘A Sunlit Corner’ and ‘A sinking Sun’. Studied at the RCA. Lived in Dartford and was killed in action 1916.
