Henri Vergé-Sarrat (1880 – 1966) He was born in Anderlecht, Belgium but lived mainly in France, spending time in both Paris and Colliure. In 1922 R. A. Stephens complained that nine “works of such mediocrity” by this artist were hung in a show of drawings by British and French artists at the Independent Gallery . (NA 30.22:289)
