Ethelbert White (1891 – 1972) He was born at Islesworth and studied at the St. John’s Wood School of Art under He worked as a painter, illustrator, engraver, and poster artist. He began exhibiting his work with the London Group and the New English Arts Club in 1916. Leonard Walker. From the blurb for a book about him: The man himself was a legend in his own life time.
