Biographies

Keith Stuart Baynes (1887 – 1977) He was born at Reigate in Surrey and educated at Harrow and Trinity College, Cambridge. He studied at the Slade School from 1912 to 1914, under Brown, Tonks, Steer, and McEvoy. He lived near Rye in Sussex for a time. We know he corresponded with Vanessa Bell and Victor Passmore, but we have not been able to locate any images of his work and would be glad to be informed of any.
